Sunday, March 3, 2013

Hello, all!  Never had a blog before, but I figured now is the time to start.  It took me a while to figure out what this blog would be for.  I created the site and the layout, then let it go.  I wanted to let it sit there and have the idea for my blog come to me through the universe.

And it did!

Over the years I've collected various quotes about acting, writing, directing, producing and filmmaking.  These quotes I collected were to give me inspiration and lift me up when I was feeling down, or the crushing weight of the film business was too much to bear.

I thought to myself, what if I could post one quote a day, so my friends and co-workers in the film business could be inspired, uplifted, and motivated as well!  I counted all my quotes, and I found 86 of them in my files.  86 approved by me!  I'm guessing I can find 14 more in the 3-4 month period it will take to post all the quotes... bringing it up to an even 100 days of inspiration!

Starting on March 4th, I will post a quote a day, for 100 days.  If you're inspired, share the quotes with your friends, or, better yet, share the blog address!  But no matter what, I hope at least one quote gives you the motivation they've all given me...

Best regards,

Tom Malloy
